Why is the training valid throughout Europe? The training follows the international standard ISO 18878 for training operators of mobile elevating work platforms and DGUV Principle 308-008. Because the standard applies internationally, the certificate also identifies you as a trained operator in other European countries. The machines themselves are built to the European standard EN 280. In Austria, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASchG) and the Work Equipment Ordinance additionally require a documented safety instruction — this is also covered by the course. The training is held in German.
