In Austria, a forklift licence is required as soon as someone operates an industrial truck at work. Here is how to get it at Bildungszentrum Logistik in Salzburg — straight to the point.
The course lasts two days. The first day focuses on theory, the second on practice on the machine, followed by the exam. Those who pass receive the credit-card-sized licence.
At BZL, forklift operator training costs € 325 net per person, plus 20 % VAT, and takes place in person. For companies that want several employees trained, in-house training directly on their own premises pays off.
The exam consists of a theory part and a practical part. It is passed with eighty per cent correct answers. Participants take the theory part with us on their own mobile phone; the practical part takes place on the forklift.
In addition to basic training, we offer refresher courses for experienced drivers, safety instructions under § 14 ASchG and training on telescopic handlers. Anyone who needs several qualifications can combine forklift and crane in one course.
