Professional lorry drivers do not fall from the sky, and general driving licence training is not enough. To provide customers with truly qualified drivers, the driver network of Der Metzler relies on BZL.
The focus of the training, which lasts several weeks, is practical instruction directly on the vehicle and the freight, including load securing, crane operator training and the forklift licence.
Anton Portenkirchner, head of HR at Der Metzler: the training should be practical. Employees do not just sit in the seminar room; they are trained directly on the machine and can then work at the customer’s site.
