The more you can do, the more you can do. The staffing provider Der Metzler relies not only on BZL’s C95 course for qualified drivers, but also has suitable employees take crane training and training as cable car staff.
This is a good idea especially in the Alpine winter sports regions: well-trained cable car staff are in demand, and thanks to their multiple qualifications the employees can be deployed all year round.
Roland Kamper, responsible for dispatch and personnel at Der Metzler, puts it this way: alongside hiring out lorry drivers, the company is adapting to the market — with courses for qualified warehouse specialists and with drivers in training who are deployed as cable car staff.
